Dr. Georgina Wyndham
Dr. Georgina Wyndham comes from a solid family of more than modest means. As the youngest of six, she developed a whimsical nature that worried her parents – they thought she would become too flighty to settle down into a good marriage. But she also had a penchant for helping people, particularly when they were injured. Her nursing skills became so good that her parents were delighted to help her become the first woman doctor Sheepchester had ever seen.
She was working at her small office in town one day when Lady Penny and Jasper blew through the doors, carrying a young boy who appeared unconscious. She directed them into her examination room and, as Jasper laid the boy on the chair, Lady Penny began to tell a crazy tale of Sir Cyrus' goons chasing after them. Thaddeus, as Lady Penny called the boy, had tripped and hit his head on the road as he fell. The men had gotten a hold of him before Jasper was able to pull him away. Not knowing where else to go, they brought him to Dr. Georgina.
Lady Penny and Dr. Georgina were of the same age, and both being career women, and thus on the outskirts of proper society, knew each other quite well. Lady Penny began to tell Dr. Georgina about the boy's map. Dr. Georgina knew of Sir Cyrus' nefarious dealings and was none-too-surprised that his malicious pursuits had cast his eyes onto young Thaddeus. After rousing the boy with some smelling salts and checking to make sure he was okay, she hurried them out the back door and down the alley that would take them safely back to Rossmore Estates without possible detection by Sir Cyrus, nor any of his goons.
As she sat and thought over the situation throughout the afternoon, Dr. Georgina believed she had a solid plan to get Sir Cyrus out of Sheepchester once and for all.
