Babel - Ambrosia

Ambrosia, noun: the food of the gods.

  • something very pleasing to taste or smell:
"the tea was ambrosia after the slop I'd been drinking"
  • a fungal product used as food by ambrosia beetles.
  • a dessert made with oranges and shredded coconut.

A semi-solid fuschia pink.  On Babel, it has deep undertones from the chocolate brown yak favorite.  As a former non-pink fan, this colorway is magical for me because I could make a million things out of it and never tire.

Yaks roam some of the world's most severe conditions high in the Himalayan Mountains. To survive the cold winters at altitude, they grow several coats -- and it is the softest "down" fibers that you will find in Babel. Merino is blended with the yak down in this yarn to make this rare luxury fiber affordable, and a hint of nylon adds strength. This yarn renders our dyes deep and heathered for a truly refined rustic look. Available in all of our solid, semi-solid, and variegated colorways.
