The Providence shrug is knit from the top down starting with the collar. Gradual increases shape the collar with stitches cast on for the front flap. Deep cables form the raglan lines creating a wide sleeve shape that cinches at the elbow and puffs out over the forearm. Modifications for length are included.
This shrug was a fun collaboration between Leann at Forbidden Fiber Co., Shannah at Honey Girl Farms, and designer Afifa, inspired by the beautiful, but simple, knits on the Starz show and the more simple wool colors of the time period. I really enjoyed coming up with this new colorway - it's grey, but green, but blue...and goes with everything! The yarns are held double and work so perfectly together, it's amazing.
